Condition & Restauration:

 Utilisé comme ligne d’urgence direct “hotline” dans la maison du maire. En cas de urgence majeure, ce téléphone était utilisé par le service de police ou la caserne de pompiers afin de contacter le maire directement après les heures de travail. C’est pourquoi ils ont été peints en rouge et ne comporte aucun cadran ( appelles entrant seulement). Effilochage sur le cordon, n’a pas été testé.  

Considered a hotline to the mayor’s home office….in the event of a major emergency the police department or fire station would contact the mayor directly after hours. This is why the were painted red and were only incoming with no dial. “as found” fraying on the cord, has not been tested.
